This driver didn't work for me. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop PCGGR370 sunning Windows 2000 Professional from which SoundMax had accidentally been deleted. In fact of the 9 search results I found none of them worked. All would return a severe error message Device not found and would abort the install. I finally found the right driver on sony's site ciscdb.sel.sony.comcgibinselectsend.pl. Be patient Sony's FTP site is very busy and hard to get to respond. The file you need is ADE0303NA2.exe.

This really is a great help to everybody. Especially to me. Being a technician at a small computer store we need to download a lot of drivers and for some reason Yamaha doesn't post this driver on their site. It works and will make me happy and my customer.

The Win98 would not accept it at all. I also went to the NEC websitehttpwww.necdisplay.comSupportCenterMonitorsInstallDriverssectiondisplaydevicewhere this monitor is not specifically identified. They have a NEC E700 MutiSync FE700 and another. They also have a download for all CRT drivers NEC CRT Monitor Installer 194KB but the readme stated it was for Win2K amp XP. Rats... Note that NEC downloads all files with the same filename necmsinf.zip.Good luck I'm giving up and will use a Dell
