This one works perfect on a Packard Bell Machine A Packard Bell has a Intel 82801AA AC'97 Sigmatel Sound Chip on board Thanx a lot questo driver non e' per windows 2003Installed easy .inf files so recognized automatically by windows.Windows 98 system all is fine though mainly used in 800x600 mode best with the software I mainly use in high color. It's been stable for over a week now eight hours of hard use over 45 sessions.While doing some normal chores the resolution was increased 1024x768 I think and card fine though use here was less than an hour before I switched back. This change of res. was NOT a problem.I recommend driver worked fine in my system windows 98 install was easy and system has been stable as described. No problems encountered.

i found a win2k driver for the 54305440 Yamaha that can do 1280x1024 32bit color. the card is by 3dlabs called the wildcat 4000.driver is here www.3dlabs.comsupportdriverswildcatdriverfilescurrentGLZ05000032.zip

This driver did not fix my problem. Everytime I power on my two USB devices I get fatal error 'An exception OE has occurred at 0028 FF037D93 in VxD.' I can find no evidence that this host controller works with Win 98. Looks like a addon board may be required if USB is to ever work in my 10 month old Dell.
