This file sucks does nothing so dont even waste your time. THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT. Only done it on Win2k Pro anyway open your device manager then connect the USB connector into the USB port. Under new devices there is going to be description of your scanner the model and everything you need with the exclamation mark next to it. In my case even though on the face of the scanner said ScanJet ADF model HPC767OA device manager said HP ScanJet 6300C then go back to HP web page and down load the file h20015.www2.hp.comensoftwareDownloadIndex.jhtmlregccussoftitemsj675enprodIdhpscanjet618414lcenswlangenpagetypesoftwareIn case that link doesnt work try this one h20015.www2.hp.comensoftwareList.jhtmlregccusprodIdhpscanjet618414lcensoftitemMicrosoft20Windows202000swlangenpagetypesoftware And pick the 95.27 MB file. ScanJet 6300ccsecxi6350ccsecxi6390c PrecisionScan Pro softwaredriver SCSI and USB Then download the file dont forget to disconnect the USB cable before you install the software and thats it after you installed the software connect the USB cable back in and you good to go.
