When I try to unzip the file it selfinstalls. However the driver does not automatically attach to the sound card. Does anyone know how to get the update driver function in the device manager to recognize a zip file as containing the correct driver

I don't know a lot about drivers but my kids downloaded a game off the web and it said that it may not work correctly because my video card was out of date and I am also having problems running my new scanner. Is this caused by out of date drivers. I have sis530 is there an update for this driver I would appreciate some help.

This is a clone of a PC Tel HSP56 although said drivers are not compatible with this actual hardware. This modem is preinstalled in the Compaq Presario 5000 model 5BW250. This modem in general is a pain in the butt to install because it sucks so badly.
