My uncle just got his modem from Talk Talk and the cd that came with it wouldn't work. So I downloaded this driver but it freezes with a little bit to go. Just like John N and some others said. Has anybody figured out how to fix this I think the problem is that my uncles windows 98 is too old for it but there must be a driver out there somewhereThanks Rob

I HAVEN'TRIED IT YET MY PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE ALL THESE DRIVER CD'S AND WHEN I NEED TO USE THEM THEY DON'T MATCH WITH THE MODEMS AND THE MODEMS DON'T HAVE ADEQUATE ID TO MATCH WITH THE DRIVER CD'S DOES THIS MAKE SENSE ANYHOW THE DRIVER FOR HSP56 ACCORDING TO THE MESSAGE ON THE COMPUTOR AND WHAT I HAVE DETERMINED FROM YOUR SITE IS A TRIO DataFAXVoice 5.3.3 b Hope it works

The system information says I'm using a SiS 7012 series audio controller which makes sense as I'm using an SiS motherboard of some sort for AMD Duron processors fitted with a chip using the CMI9738 codec. I tried using the other CMI9738 codec drivers on their own but they don't install at all.This is probably the latest one it uses the new quotXear 3Dquot logos a pretty looking configuration program and it asked about the WinXP Logo Testing during the installation of the driver itself. A pity that the CMMedia website is not working smoothly today too.
