I'm resurecting an old P3 450MHz machine 256M ram running 98. I could not get this driver to work with the SC4000.Looking for other drivers and trying other sound cards.

I was having the same problem as Johnny Bals. It was on a Win98 PC. But I followed the directions in the Readme file after I extracted the .exe file. The system locked up on the Restart. I shut it down and started it in safe mode. Shut it down and started it normally. And it was fine no more unsupported items in device manager. Thanks Carolyn. Hope this helps out.

When I installed GTAIII it didnt work as it should. My computer started asking for supportfiles that where missing. I was told by a salesman that many people have had the same problems and that the problems should vanish if they updated the drives to GeForce2.

Driver worked great on my Compaq 1220 Laptop Note No need to actually run setup. Simply point Windows to the directory where you unpacked the exe.
