Thanks for posting the FCC with your comment.. It made it easier to identify the gray market modem that I have. The model on mine is bogus and the FCC id came back as a television I went back to the FCC site and told them this.. now it shows up as a Genicom modem.

I downloaded the driver and gt the printer set up easily enough but then found my system would not accept the scanner. Have to work on that now and see why unfortunately this is a secondhand laptop and I do not have the win cd.good

This driver works great for the HP Pavillion 533w. It is not listed on HP's software and driver download site. I also reccomend driverscan it allowed me to see the chipset number since it has a heat sink on it and is not visible. Thanks
