No the driver dosnt work because it is not avalidinffile. Sorry to say I spend 5 hours to get it from you but of no use.I am working in an ownboard sound card. Win98 cannot detect this hardware But when instal Win Me it is O K.And detected as AC'97 driver for intelr82801AA controller.Now I wants to instal 98.Can I use this downloaded win9x ZIP file Driver for my sound restore . 98 even connot detet the Hardware . Works fine with my fax card and even though it's doesn't have a Windows XP Logo compatibility compatibility certificate windows warns you about it it works perfect.

driver no works with windows xp I dont know why.

Just couldn't tell the card itself was bad and it took a couple of rebuilds to put 2 and 2 together... The driver is probably great like 99 of what you find here.
