Um the clue was in the file name. This is a 64 bit driver. How can it also be suitable for Win 98 etc.This driver is only suitable for 64 bit OS.

My query is why is it so hard to find this driverI surfed into this website and the first thing I see is a forum on this driver.I am currently downloading it.Why cant manufacturers ship everything that is needed to go with their productIt would make our lives a lot less strained.Does anyone agree with me

Installed the driver on my dell notebook to try to improve performance of DLink DWLG650 and as consequence lost all function of the adapter. After the new driver install the computer wouldn't pick up the WAN and the adapter 'disappeared' was not even recognized by Device Manager. Had to go back and install the original DLink driver from cd to get the card functioning at all.
