I checked Upgrade Driver from the Device Manager then selected Have Disk. Selected ESS allegro PCI Audio WDM from the list ignored the warning. It worked

OLD and I mean OLD driver. Use the WFW Windows for workgroups folder to find the INF file to install in 95 or 98. Thanks for the driver though.

Folks don't waste your time downloading this driver if your using Windows 2000 or Windows XP.... it won't work except in Windows 9x and possibly ME os.
