Driver does not work on xp as far as i could tell. I did find a driver on here that worked well on xp systems.

Well drivers are working fine. But sometimes system just don't recoginize it has dirvers. I have to reboot again. Then it works fine.

I have w2000 in a Toshiba 1625 and and don't find a driver for the siound card Crystal 4281This was not what i was looking for. So the downloaded driver was not applicable

I've downloaded the SP9401.exe from the Compaq site but it gave me an error LaunchApp Error when executing. Looks like Compaq has joined with other companies that tailor their software to run on their hardware and theirs only

Great Stuff Actually ended up installing from the 3 English selfextracting exe files from www.sis.comsupportdriver5598.htm nothing personal just I dont trust anyoneOnce all three were in seperate directories I called them Disk1 Disk2 and Disk3 and selfextracted I just ran the setup from the first disk. Worked a treat.Cheers for your help there are a lot of dodgy versions in the list that are only viruseshoaxs.

Loaded on Win98 PC set up to host ICS. I set inactivity timeout to 2 minutes. I received a blue GPF VD screen but system recovered from it. I suspect the cause was the modem auto hangingup function.
