yes Ok.The Driver did not work with the Aureal Vortex A3D card. After I ran the .EXE file Windows still did not install the driver for the card. I noticed when it was installing it said something about being an update for the driver.

I'm reinstalling Windows SE on a Compaq Presario Model 7594. The Intel 810E video drivers work well but the ESS sound drivers don't. As usual Compaq cobbled up the works so that the normal ESS 1888 drivers won't work. I tried several drivers from the HPCompaq web site and none worked. This is the only one that worked well right quotout of the box.quot The installTrendneton is a little quothinquiequot because that's the way Compaq quotSoft Paq'squot all are. You have to execute the file first to get the quotsetup.exequot file. It might have been better to upload quotsetup.exequot instead of the quotsp8485.exequot file.

if your looking for an up to date driver for xp forget it companies like creative wont upgrade drivers.
