If the chipset is Conexant CX1125611 RD01D850 then it's the special Reisling HSF2 model. Regular drivers will not work with XP. I went through at least 20 drivers that were supposed to work but they didn't. This driver was the ONLY one that worked with XP. It works great. The modem came with an eMachines T3828. Thanks for the upload. It is a lifesaver

Another blow from HP it seems their products only work on a HP computer with original configurations.Having brought a new computer running windows ME it now seems I will have to buy a new scanner also.
