I've used this driver in the past and it worked. I'm now trying to use this monitor on my linux box could anyone give me a hand with XF86 settings I need the vertical sync etc etc.

I could not get this driver to work.My guess is that maybe you can only use this driver if you have your CPQ software utilities still on your hard drive and active like foxbyte says below.But guess what I went to the Compaq website and got ALL the drivers I need for my Compaq Presario audio display modem etc etc.They ALL worked greatGo to www29.compaq.comfalcosplist.aspYou can also order a CD from Compaq and receive by mail ALL the Presario drivers you need on one CD. This definitely restored a little faith in Compaq for meTom happy to have a working computer again

This driver works well with the Epson modem on Win98. BlessedWould not run setup nor could Win98SE find an applicable driver to use.

Thanks. This driver solved my problem. I have a Sony Vaio desktop Model pcvrx755. It came with one physical harddrive partitioned into c and d . The restore disks Never worked. So I reformatted theharddrive into one 60 gig drive and these drivers setup my built ingraphics perfectly SI 650740
