I bought this IBM Pentium 166 mainly for parts but also to learn about software and hardware installation. I first put Win 98 in and the Driver loaded itself. Computer ran as slow as anything so I then put Win 95 on but this CLGD5446 chip on the motherboard needed drivers not in Win 95. Your driver loaded in perfectly and gave all the display options missing. Computer still pretty slow compared to my P166 clone but at least I'm not reminded of the video driver being wriong everytime. Thanks

HELP I can't get my PB1402S moniter working with this winme system. When I switch the resolution to anything but 640x480 it gets increadably dark. I had this same problem with it on my win95 system. I've looked all over for help. The tech support at that new site couldn't even help.

It was an attempt to get the DVD part of the drive working. Unfortunately it didn't work. The CD part has always worked fine even wo this driver.

tried to down lexmart printere driver sp3010ld and driver z710 was subsituted

This driver did not work out so well but then in the documentation it does mention that this should one should only be used as a last resort due to the fact its a generic driver based on the chipset. Might work for someone else might not.

Driver seems to be written for CRD8240b cdrom and not GCE8240b cdrw.
