PLEASE disregard the last post I was able to revive my sp0411n. The OS is an OEM install and is now getting quite flaky. I need to reinstall the OS soon but for now this driver is working fine. I repeat it works fine

Please let me know how to install this driver for a mitsumi cdrw in Windows 2000. It needs to be done in dos mode but NT does not have this.Great helpfull site. I agree the manufacturers want to just sell and not worry afterwards.

Seems not work on Compaq Presario 3907HK model. The builtin sound card of that computer is identified as Intel 82801DB ICH4 sometimes and Realtek AC'97 sometimes. When installing using quotAdd hardwarequot dialog it will ask for Realtek AC97 drivers in the middle of installation. However picking the driver files of Realtek AC97 package may cause blue screen at nearly the end of installation. It seems that no driver is suitable for this type of computer's sound card.

This does NOT work in 2000 Pro with the Accton EN5251.

I tried this file on Emachine 766. I got the dreaded Blue Screen I had to format my entire hard drive. It was so bad I couldn't even boot under safe mode. By the way I have installed WIN 98se on this system. Those of you who have nothing to lose... try this driver.

I'm not sure what problems others have had but this driver worked fine for me on my Quantex. Just remember that after you install ANY new driver you need to REBOOT for it to become active

Has anyone else ran into a problem using this modem with win 98 I can hear a dialtone but then it doesn't dial and errors out with NoDialtone.

This and several other downloaded drivers failed to work with the onboard Yamaha sound system. Fortunately I was able to obtain a working driver from a Yamaha mirror site which I should have done in the first place.
