this driver is well out of datethe current driver I have gives a ver number as 2.1.2.164.005 and a date as 17.11.99.There is a more upto date version than I currently have which I will post to this site...when I find it

Seems not work on Compaq Presario 3907HK model. The builtin sound card of that computer is identified as Intel 82801DB ICH4 sometimes and Realtek AC'97 sometimes. When installing using quotAdd hardwarequot dialog it will ask for Realtek AC97 drivers in the middle of installation. However picking the driver files of Realtek AC97 package may cause blue screen at nearly the end of installation. It seems that no driver is suitable for this type of computer's sound card.

Thanks a bunch. The Netgear Server download seemed to be runing off a 56k modem. These drivers downloaded in about 1 minute tops. The Smc Networks Inc drivers were going to take about an hour and a half. Thanks again.

I have one of those Vbox PC's with the devices all built into the board. Something happened immediately after I got the machine kids. I put it back to fool with later. Then I moved lost my CD that came with it. I talked to the people on the Vbox support. They gave me download site. I have downloaded the drivers a dozen times. Some work some don't but can't seem to get the SiS530 Video drivers and the sound drivers to work. I have Win98. Not brave enough for Linuxplus I have a lot of software I would miss. If anyone out there has any ideas on how to get my drivers I sure would appreciate it. Mary.

This driver works great with Win98. Printer fdoesnot come with the driver and had problems trying to get it from Okidata.
