BestConfirming Phill's statement this BIOS is NOT for the LMRE it is in fact for the LMR. Sadly the search continues.

even though i downloaded the 2000 version it still worked with xp with no problems

Had lost Graphics card driver for ATI R128A16MS0 card and only had 16 colours. This driver loaded quickly and easily and now have 256 colours. Great.
