This driver works fine with win 9x. I presume that it would work with win ME. It probably does not work with Win2k or Win XP. Try HP.com for those drivers.

I tried to fix a very old computer runing in Win 98 and didn't work but the problem was not the driver rather the computer to recognize the port. On other circumstances it should work fine.

Sorry yesterday i discovered on a web site a hint for my problem with the firefox browser Someone guessed that one should check his SwapMemory.And that was what i did Yeah there was my faultI installed Windows 2000 and Windows 98 parallel on my computer with two separate partitions for each swap file. But accidentally i switched my Windows 98 swap file to the same partition of Windows 2000. So my partition size is 133 MB and the W2K file is about 125 MB in size so there was no space left for the swap file of Windows 98 and the annoyances began

After looking for many hours over several days for the required software to get xp to recognize my intel audio chip lost after a format and reinstallation I found this site. The registration process hated me but it was worth it. I just extracted the file used to add hardware wizard to locate the drive for the bus controller and voila Sound on my gateway. Thanks a ton
