i asked for driver for Realtek MD9458 and got an 9458.exe but it didnt work at all and behind that was the registration confusing and led in different ways but not the right one......

The version i had with windows was 2.02 and this is 2.05. Seems to work better fewer disconnects.

Didn't work in my Presario 5wv270 even tho the sticker on the card says it's a GVC model D1156IVP2.

The LG 8120b is not a CDRW drive it's a DVD ROM drive therefore the driver won't fix your LG 8080b CDRW drive. Connect your drive to the secondary IDE channel as a master drive alone run this. Works perfectly
