This is for anyone out there who is receiving either a General File Transfer Error or a Decompressing s failed error. I'm not sure why this download is causing a problem but I did discover there is another post of this file under a different name sp6333. From my research I found that Compaq used NeoMagic adapters in the several of the 1200 and 1600 series. If you notice the initial splash screen at setup says something like for the NeoMagic family of adapters. So I'm guessing the setupex is for any of those adapters. I did get the sp6333 to work for a 1255 Presario I was working on. Best of Luck
