Well I have a done a little research for you guys. If you check all of the file properties you will notice it is made for the Microsoft Windows 2000 environment.Also if you will search for cdrom.sys you may find a few returns.cdrom.sys found in...C WINNTServicePackFilesi386C WINNTsystem32driversThat is the two returns I had that are related to the system drivers for the CDROM.Now I'm no super expert. However it seems to me that you could just make backups of the current cdrom.sys you have installed. Rename them to something like cdrom.bak or oldcdrom.sys then overwrite the file with the one you downloaded from here.When you restart you will be using it. I haven't finished trying this yet myself however you can always enter safe mode to delete the cdrom.sys and replace it with the original one you backed up.Hopefully this helps someone took me a minute to figure out the answer.Thanks for the challenge8

I am trying to save this driver to a CD in order to load in on a computer which does not have internet connection. I cannot do this as a window tells me I do not have authorization to open the file. Can anyone tell me what to do or what this means Thanks

Could not get the driver working in a Pentium 200 IBM machine. Dont know whether there is a compatibility issue between the 16 bit machine and the latest sound card. Suggestions welcome
