no instructions on how to install.I ran the exe files within the zip file and nothing.

Installed driver by pointing to the directory containing the extracted files after WIN98SE detected the PCI multimedia CTr405 card. Driver worked but had to reboot a couple of times before it took.Better way might be to extract the files to a TEMP directory then run SBSETUP.EXE.

I have a Mecer r405 and I am trying to get it to work under Windows 2000. This driver did not work. It dannot find the device.

this driver will work first time if you remember the simple rulesfirst make sure you have winzip installed then unzip the driver and send it to C windowstwain32colorado next go to control add remove hardware when it finds scanner tell it to search for driver in above path the driver should now load and the scanner should work

JUST DOWNLOADED IT HOWEVER I CHOOSE TO USE IT AS A BACK UP DRIVER BUT WILL UPLOAD THE LASTEST DRIVER TO THE SITE IN A FEW DAYS VERSION 7.12.1.0 DATE 332004 CXTPEACE TO DRIVERGUIDE.COM THE BEST ON THE PLANET.
