I'M ONLY GETTING SOUND WHEN I SLIDE AND HOLD THE VOLUME SLIDER. THE VOLUME SLIDER KEEPS SLIDING DOWN TO THE OFF POSITION AND THE SOUND FADES AWAY. HAS ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF THIS KIND OF ERROR ANY SUGESTIONS

Dumbass this driver is for an EN1207D chipset it has nothing to do with the EN5038A1 chip that you claim it will work with. This driver if you force it on Win98SE on a EN5038A1 will give device cannot start error. The correct driver works fine
