May have been the wrong drivers. Have downloaded a different driver but not yet tried it yet.

I am at the public library. the library had disabled my access to the hard drive perhaps because so many people download stuff there. I only have access to the 3 12 floppy and therefore 1.44 MB of space. If I download your file it will cut off the end of it and I wont be able to use it. Please make it accessable to me in 3 separate disk downloads .thankyou

It didn't work on a P233 and Win98SE.

I could not get the drivers to work with the dos no matter what I did. I spent almost 2 days working on this problem. Finally I solved the problem by installing a cdrw from one of my other computers into the new one. I could then use the drivers on the Win98 startup disk to start the cdrw. Then I was able to install WinXP over the Win 98 install. The drivers on WinXP or WinXP service pack are included in will install for this Samsung dvdrom. It now works. I hope this helps.

Thanks I downloaded the driver from different people total of four and the second one I tried worked wonderfully. Let me thank you for sharing the driver and helping other people. Just lo let other people know I figured I had to download this CMI driver because they still showed under other devices control panelsystemadmin of devices after they were deleted by some file I should not have double clicked on...Thanks again...
