I guess I should give you some information about the driver installation too in the event that you have never installed a driver using an INF file manually.I assume you know how to unzip files and navigate to the folder you unzipped them too...if you don't knot how...you better AXE somebody. Then ask them if it hurt. lol. Just kidding. No AXING anyone please...but feel free to ask someone for help.Unzip everything to a folder. Let's pretend you unzipped it in CDrivers Plug inreinsert your NIC ... a windows that say new hardware is found will pop up and ask you for the drivers...point to the INF file in the CDrivers folder or wherever you unzipped it to and WinXP should take care of the rest to install the drivers then you can try to configure the NIC using the SSID and security settings needed to setup connection to the base station. If windows did not take care of it and it is showing up as an exclamation in the Device Manager you need to manually reinstall it....Rightclick on My Computer Manage Device Manager Network Adapters ...right click on the MN720 and go to the tab that say to reinstall the devices driver and choose that option....point to the INF file. You should be all set.Hope this helps people Why the heck did I get an 802.11g when something with the range of like 30 miles will be coming out soon for sale Oh well..less people to try and hack it I guess...blahMy suggestion is to setup MAC filtering disable SSID broadcasts and use WPA for security.
