please note that there were no answers as to compatibility stability amp installation of the driver itself.. i was not able to finish the download something went wrong with it amp couldn't finish..Q will the driver be able to run 3d games in accelerated mode if used on builtin vga adapter particularly on an ASUS board with SiS chipsets

To Bill Thank you for a driver that works for a drive that barely works.To Cyrus Thank you for stepbystep installation instructions. A breeze.The drive is still as noisy as it always has been from day one with weird wheezing whining and whizzing when first accessed.At least it now plays audio CDs just as smooth as silk.But it hesitates pauses and clicks a lot if the content of the CD is any kind of program or data especially reference work like encyclopedias and such.I think it will be okay until I can afford to replace it by another brand.
