VERY much appreciate this site and the information and drivers located here. After spending countless hours on the phone with Compaq they literally told me to cancel my service contract with them. They could not help me with this older model Compaq Prolinea 590. Thanx to those who submitted the drivers I can't even begin to tell you how much they are appreciated.

I've tried the downloaded SETUP.EXE. It fails with a pop up Setup Initialization Error Setup is unable to find installation languages in SETUP.LID file. Error 105.

This driver worked perfectly. If you have correctly identified the sound chip type and model and you follow the directions in the Read Me file it worked. I had a motherboard that had an embedded sound chip. The numbers on the chip matched this driver. I downloaded the file and unzipped it . I read the Read Me file and followed the directions. Great

I have been having a great deal of difficulty finding and installing a driver for th NVidia RIVA tnt pro Model 64 video card. I found that by moving the various files needed for my OS and driver into a separate folder and then installing manually produced the best results.This however is a method that carries a few potential pitfalls. I would be happy to if asked detail and submit my installation procedure for the use or critique of others.checkmate444gmail.com

The driver did not work with the onboard sound chip of my pentium III unit and caused it to hangup so i uninstalled it and am now using the unit without sound.
