This driver worked perfectly. If you have correctly identified the sound chip type and model and you follow the directions in the Read Me file it worked. I had a motherboard that had an embedded sound chip. The numbers on the chip matched this driver. I downloaded the file and unzipped it . I read the Read Me file and followed the directions. Great

I failed to delete all the soundcard units from the System menu when I first attempted to install this driver. It did not work and so I started over. Second time did it on two computers.LM

Installer only works on Dell systems.It is not a driver. Missing parts setup.exe. Does not install.

I put the driver into a directoryran it copy the tree to a floopyand it installed fine no problemsI was using Win98SE. It did sys SMC 1211 but it workedfine for my SMC EN5030B1
