Driver works fine initially but after a short period of time it does not recognize that the driver ever existed. Unable to reinstall

Works fine with Windows XP Professional. Just followed the instructions tha come in pdf format with the driver. Must uninstall previous Windows 9 driver installations. Use the canoscan setup CD and use the uninstall option.

This driver did not work with an eMachines T1090 which has onboard 82891 AC'97 Audio.

Mira yo lo instalo mediante los dispositivos y cuando reinicio me salta error en el explorer luego entro en modo .... y desavilito wss y ahi anda lo mas bien pero sin sonido cuando la reinicio

I was having the same problem as Johnny Bals. It was on a Win98 PC. But I followed the directions in the Readme file after I extracted the .exe file. The system locked up on the Restart. I shut it down and started it in safe mode. Shut it down and started it normally. And it was fine no more unsupported items in device manager. Thanks Carolyn. Hope this helps out.
