Unfortunately this driver does not work on my etower766id. After the installation the device manager showed the HW as Crystal WDM Audio Codec without any problem but under Multimedia Audio no device is selectable. After all the hassel no sound at all. Guess it's faster to buy a cheap sound card then to find another driver. The eMachine Restore CD is a joke and the support a real mess.

Tried it on Dell Inspiron 1100 notebook didn't seem to work so well. It makes my screen go black.The app ran like it should though so the driver itself is probably fine. Must just be a compatibility issue.

Good site easy to follow. A shame that Sis cannot get their act together and provide proper support to their users. As for the driver I've yet to install it but judging by others comments it should be a piece of cake. As for the cussing kids grow up.

Espero sea el bueno.Did not work for a RealTec RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet NIC with XP. As others noted there appears to be no XP driver. Drivers only go up to WINNT in this package.
