Hmm.. I had a go with the file up there and couldn't get it to extract properly on my win2k machine I want the drivers for 9x but it extracted great on a winME machine. Summin weird is goin on there.

the driver sometimes crushes the operating system....especially under winxp profesional sp.2

Installed without any problems on a windows98 machine. However I still only get 16 colors max. Is this limited by the monitor driver or the the adapter driver Is the adapter driver separate The update installed as a 'COMPAQ Presario MV500 Color Monitor on Standard PCI Graphics Adapter'. If it is the adapter how do I get the adapter driver Would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Tried this driver in an effort to get an lg rw drive going under NT4 to no avail. Tried it under win 9598se Also won't work.Drivers for dos oakcdrom.sys and mscdex.exe work and windows drivers supplied with all versions 95 and up work. You may need some ASPI drivers with some os's. All brands of cd burner software have worked with these drives for me in the past without problem But the drive will never play DVD's as far as I know. VCD might work with the right software.Open zip files with winrar or winzip and extract to drive A on floppy equipped computers Then run quotinstallquot from the windows command line or dos window.Always check the masterslavecable select jumper at the rear of the deck I knew a woman who installed a rw deck straight from the box and it worked until she tried to boot from the cdrom.Both cd decks had their jumpers in the quotCSquot position One must be set to master and one to slave for proper operation.If anyone reads this and can help with getting this drive to work under win NT Please post a fix It would be much appreciated.
