The install routine asks which legacy Compaq PC you're using Presario etc. I'm using a generic OEM PC and I picked Presario for lack of a better option...and voila it works. May have to try it for a while to see about bumping up the stability and functionality ratings.It's nice to be able to use the 8 buttons along the top of a legacy keyboard.
