Unfortunately this driver does not work on my etower766id. After the installation the device manager showed the HW as Crystal WDM Audio Codec without any problem but under Multimedia Audio no device is selectable. After all the hassel no sound at all. Guess it's faster to buy a cheap sound card then to find another driver. The eMachine Restore CD is a joke and the support a real mess.

This driver seems to be the one that was shipped with the original Sony Driver CD. Works well with USB2.0 but MiniDV cams are best used with Firewire

correct ID 56K Modem with Lucent 1648T00 chipset made by Smart Modular Technologies model 90109 installed in HP 6736 quotdowngradedquot Ha more like UPGRADED from installed OS Win ME to Win98 SE. this driver enabled me to use same modem in computer. using right now and is working perfectly. BTW Win98 SE running very stable Win ME repeatedly locked up. now just got to get that onboard sound working. very possibly drivers guide to the rescue again.
