After looking for many hours over several days for the required software to get xp to recognize my Diamond Multimedia audio chip lost after a format and reinstallation I found this site. The registration process hated me but it was worth it. I just extracted the file used to add hardware wizard to locate the drive for the bus controller and voila Sound on my gateway. Thanks a ton

The only driver I have for this device is provided by Microsoft dated in 2001. I tried to install this driver and it told me that it would not work for this device. I matched the number exactly and know for a fact this is the driver I need. POS.

Need a driver for 815 set with AC'97 card got one earlier for 845 which works but get lots of static even though there's no conflicts. What am I supposed to do with this Copy it to somewhere
