Well i'we installed this driver but i had some problems due to a lack of patches on my WinXp os but after installing the patches it all went smooth. It works

no this driver nor any other i have tried work. also let me say that this driver was ment to be an audio processor for Ali motherboards but was installed as a sound card anyways.hints theres bigger problems then what they say. as for anyone w an hp let me know if you need a recovery disc set. it just so happens i got my hands on one and will make some copys if you need.it xp home os. but if anyone can find this driver please post it. others need it despritly.

For some reason the driver files do not always get copied. If after rebooting you see by the device verify that the snd924. files are in the SYSTEM folder.

Strange install. Needed to first install these drivers then Windows changed its interpretation of what it actually was from Unknown PCI Multimedia Card to Crystal Wave Codecs but it still didn't work. But then I did find new drivers automatically for the Cystal Wave Codecs that it now incorrectly thought it had after the driver install the device is an Intel 82801aa ac'97 and then it changed its mind agian to the correct name and it now works. Bizzare but effective. Seems to be the way with sound cards dunno why.
