I could not get this driver to work.My guess is that maybe you can only use this driver if you have your CPQ software utilities still on your hard drive and active like foxbyte says below.But guess what I went to the Compaq website and got ALL the drivers I need for my Compaq Presario audio display modem etc etc.They ALL worked greatGo to www29.compaq.comfalcosplist.aspYou can also order a CD from Compaq and receive by mail ALL the Presario drivers you need on one CD. This definitely restored a little faith in Compaq for meTom happy to have a working computer again

This driver doesn't seem to work for WINXP 64.Other then that it probably would on all others.Everything came up properly but wouldn't continue on my system.

Installed Ok to Intel board PIII 700Mhz. No reboot necessary so I can now update these comments while still online. Did the job Just went to system applet and reinstalled driver navigating to unzipped files folder

This is recommended driver for Win 98. You will also need the part 2 exe. which is also on the website.

works ok for the asus p5a board. did not solve my problems of freeze with agp cards though. probably someone overclocked the northbridge because it works fine on pci graphics.
