Hi guysI have a NEC 660Plus too and I figure out that I will never buy anything from NEC again as they have a very bad customer service. They discontinued the model and also stopped upgrading driver... a stupid ideal. They will be broke very soon

That's the ticket. It even worked after I used File Shredder to cut it up so I could tranfer it via floppies onto the computer that needed the driver. Life is good.

The file cjg5400EN.exe for the Leximark X5470 printer unpacks and starts the Lexmark install process but the software fails to detect that the printer is securily connected even though Windows does detect the printer The option to run setup automatically after unpacking is preselected and cannot be stopped. Otherwise the user could have access to the X5470 printer driver without the failed install that is blind to reality on the USB Line. I have the other software for the printer but I was only given the driver for windows XP which I am not using This driver archive says that it is good for Windows 98 amp Windows Me and thats what I need If I could access the driver files from that archive then Windows install wizard would do the rest. Then I could separately install the printingscanning software from my factory CD. The problem is that Lexmark has failed to offer the drivers other than Windows XP and thats not fair to the customers
