it works. the problem with Art was that his system was set to not display system files.dll .drv. to you Art go to settings 'folder options' click the 'view' tab. Go to advanced settings and change the option to 'show all files'.

This driver didn't work but I found the SP6333 driver to work in its place just fine. ftpftp.Epson.compubsoftpaqsp60016500sp6333.exeIt is a floppy image the driver worked just fine after that.

Although this WAS the driver for the pc it took several tries before it finally acepted it. Don't ask me why... but the installation get very tedious it's still not as stable as it should be and overall it wasn't a very pleasent experience. Don't blame it on DG this site is the best when it comes to drivers. I think it's Intel who just made a booboo here.
