For any who does not know what is this this is a RAR file a compressed file similar to ZIP files. It ca be decompressed with WinRar among others.I had problems with games quotBattlefieldquot quotVietcongquot quotTomb Raider AODquot and quotMafiaquot the sound speeds up or down in these games. The problem is related to Hardware 3D sound. This driver fixed it for my Windows XP Thanks a lotNote 1 If you have the same problem but this driver does not work for you another way to fix it is the following execute dxdiag.exe go to Sound tab and set Handware Acceleration to None. Sound speed will be correct but is a bit delayed and some glitches are heard sometimes.Note 2 This driver adds a quotSound Managerquot to the system tray. If you don't want it execute msconfig.exe go to Start tab and uncheck quotsoundmanquot.Thanks a lot again

was able to unzip file but there is no execute file I cant't get it to install what a pain in the ass to jump through hoops to sign up can't find files that work.

bought a USRobotics 56k ext voicefax modem with no driver. When installed on a Windows 95 machine windows wanted to install a standard modem driver. I let this happen but modem would not work.Updated to driver from this file My computerpropertiesdevice managermodemsupdate driverselecting from list etc and this proves that everything is working perfectly. The voice element is not working correctly but I will search for a better driver. thanks a million.
