I have a presario 7478 with win2k and it was a pain in the ass to find a driver that would work nothing on Epson's site would work. Downloaded this driver since i knew it was an ESS Allegro the setup program didnt work but once i pointed the reinstall wizard to the folder. b00m. it worked.

This driver did not work with my modem. Number was the same. Just froze the computer when I tried to use the modem. I'll keep looking....
