I says it has drivers for 95 98 ME NT4 2K and XP But it doesn't work in 98se.

This driver works well for the intended ESS 1938 Solo 1 chip but don't expect to be overly impressed. Selfpowered speakers are your best choice to improve output.

downloaded to CD on XP and installed on a win98se system but still can't get the camera to work it finds the cam on USB port but the pics will not download.

I had to completely uninstall my nonworking driver prior to installing this one. I could not simply choose quotupdate driverquot.To install simply unzip to a good folder. Then uninstall previous hardware. Go to install new hardware and specify the folder that you unzipped this file to. You should be in business.
