Maybe because I'm running Me but usually if 98 is the only option then the driver works for Me. This wouldn't even install doubleclicking on it just made it beep

No the driver dosnt work because it is not avalidinffile. Sorry to say I spend 5 hours to get it from you but of no use.I am working in an ownboard sound card. Win98 cannot detect this hardware But when instal Win Me it is O K.And detected as AC'97 driver for intelr82801AA controller.Now I wants to instal 98.Can I use this downloaded win9x ZIP file Driver for my sound restore . 98 even connot detet the Hardware .
