Never tried this yet but I sure hope it works I searched everywhere for a driver for this cd224e cd rom. I have a Compaq deskpro Pentium II 300mhz but every driver I was told would get my cd to work would just get it to be able to display D in the dos mode but when you typed DIR or anything your get a Error saying CD not ready try again. I just don't get it...

I hope this works on a WIN98 puter cuz if it dont im stuck... NOTE The win 3.11 disks have the .inf file that 'sorks' on win9598 only mine are shagged....fingers crossed
