Could not install no installer but attempted to run one of the .exe files and was asked to supply a Windows applet.This is the second driver I have tried with no results. Glad it works for those of you who know what I am doing wrong. For the novice IT person like myself I really don't recommend it. Maybe I'll try the driver scan service this site advertises.

Updating your BIOS is not something that should be attempted by a novice. Unless you know your EXACT BIOS version your motherboard manufacturer and the chipset maker you should leave this to a professional otherwise it will render your computer totally useless in which case you will end up paying a professional big bucks to repair it. If you do not know how to install the update you should leave well enough alone and find someone who does.
