I got lot's of trouble whit new driver from 2005 so i tryed this one. I didn't use the driver's install beacuse if the Windows instals this driver it works much more stable and so does ewry driver i recommend that you always install form Windows' add new hardware. Driver works on Windows 95 Windows 95a Windows 95b Windows 98 Windows 98SE. It was tested on Windows95b and Windows98 and works perfect whit both of them. There is only one minus for this driver it suports only one card that is nVDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64. But i don't care about that beacuse i got this card. It's perfect driver and i recommend it very much.SimonPSSorry for bad english.

I have the SIS620 Board with a BIOS dated 2101999 and I need an upgrade because I just went from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Professional. Anybody know where I can get it without having to sign over my first born or apply for financing Thanks.

I went through the same hassles. I put this .sys file into my WindowsSystem32Drivers folder in Windows ME and it still wouldn't recognize my drive as more than just a CDrom. I finally broke down and called NEC themselves and found out that there were no real drivers for this drive it was an OEM product that was only distributed with prebuilt computer systems. I did find out however that there are at this point to my knowledge 2 pieces of software that will support the drive and make it work. The 2 programs are EasyCDCreator Basic 5.1.x or Nero 5.5.3.5 or better. If I can figure out how they did this I will try to isolate or write if I can the files and upload them. I hope this helps some of you. Good luck.
