I got the driver working. The problem was with my BIOS. It had some hardware conflict with my Sound Blaster settings. This was documented on the Microsoft site. Thanks

Great and this did work with a BXT00 board. Yes I got the regular problem Windows Sound System Board is not detected. The answer is that you must do a Enable the sound board in tne BIOSb Disable PnP Plug and Play mode in the BIOS as well. Leave all the IRQ PnP set to yes.It will probably complain as mine did when it finds a conflict with IRQ11 and DMA 0 but it will find alternatives and then work.David

Don't you just know it the very last driver I downloaded and you said it should work with a 3Com 1807 JS.....thanks alot

Erm...it says it works with other OSes Like WinXP. As the name of the zip file implies it does not.
