The driver may be fine for other systems but did not work in my Emachines Etower Model 667ir running Windows 98SE with integrated sound chipset on the motherboard. My guess is it's the wrong codec.

Does work for MV400. Best advice borrow a plug and play monitor to observe your installation. Make sure you are downloading the correct driver for your monitor...USE OF WRONG DRIVER WILL GUARANTEE FAILURE This driver is designed to install when opened and reboot when it recommends it. If you don't even get the BIOS displaying on your COMPAQ at startup...forget it...something is either wrong with your system or your monitor's toast. Seeing the Windows logo is a healthy sign even if the driver doesn't take initially...go through and reinstall again and reboot...making sure you reconnect the Compaq as the system's rebooting. If you leave the plug and play monitor connected during reboot...the Compaq driver won't initiate. If this doesn't work go into device manager under systems and have the system search for the driver. If you see it recognized the Compaq even thought the Compaq has not worked...well it's a good sign that it will...persevere It probably won't find a good driver even though you try directing it to the download location. Don't fear keep that window open go into Windows Explorer and reinitiate install of the driver. Hey I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me I rebooted a total of three times and prayed that God would have mercy on me and make the monitor work He granted my request. Hope this helped

The driver has screwd my windows with the message that the driver made a divide overflow en the system was halted. It is possibel that it's a problem of the pc because it is a compaq deskpro.

Seemed to get confused when running Setup between disk1 disk2. Added the card manually and all worked fine. Didn't need disk2.

After jumping all around usr.com it dawned on me that PriorityOne might be a good resource. I had help getting your mdm3com.inf file pasted to notepad then downloaded. Then I later went back to USR to look up manual info. Found FAQ's helpful. Eg IRQ 4 not a good choice etc.I set my jumpers thusly compnp and IRQ7. With your driver to diskette I was able to load up and BINGO It worked Windows set com3 IRQ5..so I moved the IRQ TO 5. Success Thank you and I hope this helps others with a USR SPORTSTER 33.6K MODEM.

I have one of those Vbox PC's with the devices all built into the board. Something happened immediately after I got the machine kids. I put it back to fool with later. Then I moved lost my CD that came with it. I talked to the people on the Vbox support. They gave me download site. I have downloaded the drivers a dozen times. Some work some don't but can't seem to get the SiS530 Video drivers and the sound drivers to work. I have Win98. Not brave enough for Linuxplus I have a lot of software I would miss. If anyone out there has any ideas on how to get my drivers I sure would appreciate it. Mary.
