The wireless adapter came out of a Gateway PC and may be a hybrid made exclusively for Gateway and these Drivers wouldn't load I tried Auto search and Specify a location and couldn't get Wdws. to recognize them. I went to Gateway's site and downloaded the Drivers from there and they installed and worked perfect. I compared both sets of drivers and they appear the same same amount of filessize and the Drivers guide drvr. wouldn't work. The only thing I can figure out is maybe the Card is a Hybrid made for Gateway or the File got corrupted during the download. My advise is try it but don't be surprised if it doesn't work.

I used this driver and it worked as it should. Personally I have never had any trouble with any of the drivers from this site start way back in the early nineties. It was easier to get drivers then not so many screens. But yeah if you need a driver this site is a good starting place....
