well i tryed it on a compaq deskpro with i815 chipset .. sound wasnt working in win98 .. in xp the driver name was just like this driver name ... Canon AC97 801 AA .. the instaler worked ok .. the sound card dint work that's it

Good for all PCTEL based modems

Installed on client's old P100 machine that had a clean install of Win95b. The drvupd.exe process VXD at the end and now the machine spontaneously reboots during Windows Load. Boot into safe mode remove card from device manager and on next boot card reinstalls itself automatically using the new drivers but still VXD's. Also it appears that this driver adds a new list of Creative Labs devices to the system.
